Welcome to Taranaki Land SAR

Welcome to the Taranaki Land Search and Rescue web site. Our mission is to provide suitably trained and experienced field and incident management volunteers to the New Zealand Police to assist them in the delivery of Search and Rescue services to the public.

Our members respond to all manner of operations from missing trampers and climbers in the Egmont National Park or the Taranaki bush, to urban searches for missing children or people with dementia, as well as assisting the Coastguard by conducting shoreline searches. We respond in all weather, at any time day or night with our goal to help the lost, missing or injured.
